Approach
Approach
Therapy is a powerful investment in your health and wellbeing and can lead to improvements in all aspects of your life. It takes time, effort, trust, and financial commitment and we take your commitment seriously. We are dedicated to understanding the hopes and difficulties that bring you to therapy and tailoring each session to help you move towards the life you would like to live.
One of the most powerful aspects of therapy is being able to speak candidly as we work out what is real and important for us. Another is to be alleviated of the burden of thinking we are alone with what we're experiencing. Then there are techniques that can be learned and applied, acting like a scaffold to help us get where we want to go. And all of that rests on the relationship between you and the therapist. That relationship has to feel safe enough to allow you to explore, and supportive enough to foster the changes you're seeking. "Inner space" reflects the feelings of safety, satisfaction, openness, connection, and resilience that can develop when people feel reliably understood and supported and the quality of the therapeutic relationship is the key to those feelings. Inner space is at the heart of our practice and is what we wish for you.
To help you determine if we're the right fit, we've provided more information about each clinician's style and focus areas
We also offer a free 15-20 minute introductory call with one of the clinicians. This gives you the chance to get a sense of how we can help you and what it's like to work with us.
